TP series Toroid Transformers impart great dynamics, solidity, quietness and transparency! They convey a sense of effortless, energetic sound that enhances your perception of wide dynamic range. That highly desired character is clear even in soft passages so that even violins, woodwinds etc. have a bolder, more vivid sound coming from the darker, nearly 'black' background. 

 

Toroid transformers have a much higher efficiency than traditional "E-Core" transformers. This means that much less heat generated by these transformers which is clearly desirable, even more so, if you have your amp in an enclosed space.

 

Installer Notes: Relatively easy installation, but you'll need a power drill to make a new central hole because toroid transformers have one mounting bolt at dead center. Common open-end or socket tools are needed to tighten the nut on the center bolt. Then it is just the soldering job that remains.

 

NOTE: The photo at left is a representation of the appearance of a toroid transformer. The one you actually receive may have a different appearance. In addition you might receive an international primary version, 115/230VAC 50Hz, in lieu of the standard U.S. 115VAC/60Hz version. Some versions may be designed for worldwide application with multiple primary voltage windings. Proper instructions for your location will be provided.
